Self Assessment is a system HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) uses to collect Income Tax.

Tax is usually deducted automatically from wages, pensions and savings. People and businesses with other income must report it on a tax return.

If you are required to submit a tax return, we can help you to complete it after the end of your accounting year.

Submitting your Tax Return

Once you have authorised the filing of your Tax Return we will submit it to HMRC electronically using our dedicated Tax Return software by the appropriate deadline.

Filling in your return

You need to keep records (eg bank statements or receipts) so we can fill in your tax return correctly. Visit Accounts Preparation for details of the records you are required to keep.

We will advise you of the latest date by which we require your records in order to meet the HMRC deadline.

Paying your tax bill

How much tax you pay will depend on the Income Tax band you’re in. There’s a different rate for Capital Gains Tax if you need to pay it, eg you sell shares or a second home.

We offer full assistance in understanding the in's and out's of your tax requirements.

We will advise you on your Tax position and the dates on which your Tax is due.
